Engaging young people in the public discourse on climate change has become an urgent necessity to ensure a sustainable and equitable future. Young people are the group most affected by the long-term consequences of climate change, whether in terms of their health, food security, or economic opportunities. Therefore, empowering them to participate in the public dialogue is not only a right but also a duty we have as individuals and as societies.

Young people possess a unique creative energy and enthusiasm that can be harnessed to develop new and innovative solutions to environmental challenges. They bring fresh perspectives that go beyond traditional models and can use modern technology and social media to raise awareness and influence public policy. Engaging them also helps foster a sense of responsibility, motivating them to take practical steps to protect the environment and contribute to building more sustainable communities.

In addition, involving young people in public debates promotes transparency and democratic participation. The voices of young people can serve as a powerful incentive for decision-makers to take bolder and more ambitious steps in addressing the climate crisis. Furthermore, having young people at the center of dialogue and debate ensures that future policies are more inclusive and equitable.

Therefore, we must all support initiatives to empower young people in this field by providing platforms for discussion, promoting awareness and education programs, and supporting their participation in environmental conferences and forums. Young people are not just the future; they are the present, and without their voices and ideas, we will not be able to address the climate crisis effectively and fairly.

Ecologia Media organizes meetings for Arab youth to engage in dialogue and exchange ideas on environmental issues and climate justice, providing young people with an opportunity to express their views on these matters. It also conducts training sessions to help young people better understand environmental issues.Sustainable solutions that help mitigate risks will be explored and discussed through the production of short videos and a podcast series.

If you're a young person who wants to help bring about change and ensure a better future, join one of our programs.
